Jesse Eisenburg is playing Lex Luthor.

It was just announced today that Jesse Eisenburg (pictured above) is playing Lex Luthor. Putting the flower on the grave that is the Superman franchise, Warner Brothers also announced that Jeremy Irons is playing Alfred. This whole thing is train wreck that could of have earned some kind of steam if they would have cast Bryan Cranston as the bald genius but alas we are going for the "isn't he too young?" angle of things. Too bad, Superman.
